2026 National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships -- Grand Island, Nebraska | Heartland Public Shooting Park, Fonner Park & Heartland Events Center
Each June, Grand Island plays host to one of the most prestigious youth shooting sports competitions in the country. The National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships brings together talented young competitors from across all 50 states to test their skills across a full range of disciplines — including compound and recurve archery, air rifle, air pistol, .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun, muzzleloading, and hunting skills.
Hosted by Nebraska 4-H and held at Fonner Park and the Heartland Public Shooting Park, this multi-day event celebrates sportsmanship, safety, and skill at the national level. Beyond the range, participants enjoy a week of community and camaraderie, highlighted by a popular silent auction and a Teen Social event — bringing together youth from every corner of the country for a memorable experience both on and off the course.
Whether you're a competitor, a family member, or a spectator, the National 4-H Shooting Sports Championships is a premier event that showcases the best of what Nebraska hospitality — and America's 4-H community — has to offer.
